Symbolism
There are no scales here. Magda leaves the obvious symbol out and focuses on the act of balance itself. At the center, a tightrope walker is poised on a single wire in the sky, held in perfect equilibrium against a full moon. That height and lightness nod to Libra as an air sign. Around the figure, the whole composition begins to mirror itself. Two open hands, matching rose bushes, Libra’s flower, climb on either side, and even the clouds and stars echo across the sky. The scales are transformed into grace, symmetry, and the careful art of holding everything in relation. At the bottom, two small feathers deepen the sense of airy lightness, while the Libra constellation glows between the balanced halves. This is Libra as poise in motion. Harmony is intentional, beautiful, and held with care.
